MRT Corporation (MRTC) in a statement are confident that
phase 1 of Putrajaya Line shall be opening on 16th June 2022.

After postponed its opening last year, MRT Putrajaya Line
phase 1 from Sungai Buloh (formerly under MRT Kajang Line) to MRT Kampung Batu
confirm by FMT report, ready for public at 3pm on 16th June 2022. This opening
shall ease users difficulties during migration period 3 stations were closed to
public. However, shuttle bus are provided to cater passengers from Sungai
Buloh, to Kwasa Sentral while Kampung Selamat, Kwasa Damansara and Sungai Buloh
are closed for public.

There are 12 stations in total ( 3 existing stations now is under Putrajaya Line ) are:
- Kwasa Damansara
- Kampung Selamat
- Sungai Buloh
- Damansara Damai
- Sri Damansara Barat
- Sri Damansara Sentral
- Sri Damansara Timur
- Metro Prima
- Kepong Baru
- Jinjang
- Sri Delima
- Kampung Batu
The new line shall be served by 20 set of new 4 coach trains
and its driverless automatic system similar to MRT Kajang Line and LRT Kelana Jaya
Line. Meanwhile phase 2 of MRT Putrajaya Line is expected to begin its
operation in January 2023. Due to pandemic both phase are scheduled delays from
initial target date.
