Bina Puri raih kontrak HSR Thailand

Bina Puri Holdings Bhd (Bina Puri), menerusi syarikat usaha samanya, SPTK Joint Venture Co Ltd (SPTK JV) memeterai pakej kontrak dengan State Railway of Thailand (SRT) membabitkan projek Kereta Api Berkelajuan Tinggi (HSR) yang menghubungkan Bangkok ke Nakhon Ratchasima.

Anak syarikat milik penuh Bina Puri, Bina Puri Sdn Bhd (BPSB) serta NPA Construction Co Ltd dan Tim Sekata Sdn Bhd memenangi bidaan bagi pakej bernilai 7.75 bilion baht (RM1.036 bilion) bagi bahagian Khok Kruat–Nakhon Ratchasima di bawah fasa pertama bahagian Bangkok-Nakhon Ratchasima.

Kontrak itu ditandatangani Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif SPTK JV, Attasith Damrongrat dan Pengarah Eksekutif Bina Puri Holdings (Thailand) Ltd, Leong Keh Soon bagi pihak SPTK JV, manakala SRT diwakili oleh gabenornya, Nirut Maneephan.

Setiausaha Tetap Kementerian Pengangkutan, Chayatham Phromsorn, menyaksikan majlis pemeteraian itu yang diadakan di kementerian berkenaan di Bangkok.

Hadir sama Pengarah Urusan NPA Construction Co Ltd Dittapol Damrongrat, Pesuruhjaya Perdagangan Perbadanan Pembangunan Perdagangan Luar Malaysia (MATRADE), Norman Dzulkarnain Nasri dan Pengerusi Dewan Perniagaan Malaysia-Thailand (MTCC), Dr Hwee Khim Boo.

Kerja-kerja sivil untuk fasa pertama bahagian Bangkok-Nakhon Ratchasima membabitkan 14 kontrak. Majlis pemeteraian hari ini membabitkan lima kontrak bagi kerja-kerja sivil.

Sementara itu, Attasith berkata, SPTK JV yakin berupaya menyiapkan projek itu mengikut masa ditetapkan.

"Kami mempunyai tenaga kerja yang mencukupi dan sub-kontraktor untuk menyelesaikan projek ini. Kami juga mempunyai jurutera untuk memantau projek ini pada setiap bulan," katanya.

Projek HSR Bangkok-Nong Khai mempunyai dua fasa dengan pembinaan bahagian Bangkok-Nakhon Ratchasima (fasa pertama) akan membabitkan landasan kereta api sepanjang 250.77 kilometer (km) dengan anggaran kos pembinaan sebanyak 179.41 bilion baht (RM24.1 bilion) manakala fasa kedua pula dengan pembinaan landasan sepanjang 356.10 km bagi bahagian Nakhon Ratchasima-Nong Khai.

Bina Puri meneroka pasaran Thailand untuk kali pertama pada 2003 apabila menerima kontrak membina akses jalan ke Lapangan Terbang Antarabangsa Suvarnabhumi, Bangkok yang bernilai melebihi RM180 juta.

Rayuan Haji Melalui Aplikasi THi Jari

KUALA LUMPUR, 22 Disember 2020 - Para pendeposit TH yang ingin membuat rayuan haji kini boleh menggunakan aplikasi THiJARI. Rayuan haji untuk tahun 1442H/2021M dibuka bermula hari ini 22 Disember 2020 sehingga 13 Februari 2021.

YB Datuk Dr. Zulkifli Al Bakri, Menteri Di Jabatan Perdana Menteri (Hal Ehwal Agama) berkata semasa merasmikan Muzakarah Haji Peringkat Kebangsaan ke-37, kemudahan terbaharu ini dibina bagi membantu orang ramai membuat rayuan haji tanpa perlu menghantar surat rayuan ke pejabat-pejabat TH seperti tahun-tahun yang lalu, lebih-lebih lagi masyarakat kini terkesan dengan penularan wabak Covid-19.

Selain daripada rayuan haji, bakal haji boleh menyemak pendaftaran haji, status rayuan haji, status tawaran haji, jadual penerbangan serta pelbagai perkhidmatan lain seperti urusan simpanan dan pengeluaran melalui aplikasi THiJARI.

Kuala Lumpur -Singapore High Speed Rail (HSR) Project Terminated

KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 1 -- The Kuala Lumpur-Singapore High Speed Rail (HSR) project has been terminated, as both countries failed to reach an agreement on changes proposed by Malaysia before the project agreement lapsed on Thursday (Dec 31).

A joint press statement by Malaysian Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin and his Singapore counterpart Lee Hsien Loong said the Malaysian government had proposed several changes to the HSR project due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the Malaysian economy.

"Both governments had conducted several discussions with regard to these changes and had not been able to reach an agreement. Therefore, the HSR Agreement had lapsed on Dec 31, 2020,” it said.
