Sering kali kita menghadapi kesukaran apabila ada staf yang sering melakukan keselahan-kesalahan berskala sederhana dan kecil tetapi jika berulang kali berlaku ianya boleh menjejaskan persekitaran kerja. Sebagai ketua (atau lebih baik dipanggil sebagai leader) anda perlu menanganinya secara bijak dan berkesan. Terpulang kepada anda untuk memilih kaedah yang sesuai. Sebagai contoh datang lewat ke tempat kerja, ianya bukanlah merupakan kesalahan besar (major misconduct) tetapi jika berterusan dan tiada kemajuan (improvement), ianya boleh menjejaskan perancangan penyelia di sesebuah organisasi. Anda perlu berjumpa staf tersebut dalam sesi yang sesuai untuk memberi peluang kepada staf menjelaskan perkara yang berlaku.
Untuk kesalahan berskala besar ianya tidak perlukan sesi kaunseling malah boleh diberi surat peringatan dan seterusnya surat amaran dari Human Capital (HC). Bagi kes major misconduct, siasatan perlu dijalankan terlebih dahulu dan menyerahkan laporan kes kepada ketua jabatan dan terpulang kepada ketuan jabatan samada ianya perlu dipanjangkan kepada pihak Industrial Relation di HC. Ianya tidak memerlukan borang kaunseling

LRT automatik di Malaysia (CBTC)
Perkembangan LRT, MRT dan tren berkelajuan tinggi secara amnya telah meningkat seiring dengan perkembangan ekonomi, sosial dan kemajuan teknologi. Antara sebab pengguna memilih LRT dan tren sebagai pengangkutan utama adalah:
- Lokasi stesen yang sesuai dan berintegrasi dengan laluan tren yang lain. Contohnya KL Sentral, Masjid Jamek, BandaTasik Selatan dan bandar-bandar di dunia yang lain. Sistem berintegrasi antara tren ini dapat dilihat di Tokyo, Shinjuku yang terkenal dengan kepadatan penduduk dan pengguna yang tinggi
- Ketepatan masa yang boleh diharapkan (train availability) yang teratur walau pun terdapat sedikit kelewatan, ianya masih boleh dibanggakan. Pengguna boleh merancang jadual perjalanan dan sampai ke destinasi dalam masa yang dijangka (expected time arrival -ETA)
- Kemudahan yang terdapat di stesen adalah baik. Terdapat tandas, lift, eskalator, kedai-kedai yang berdekatan di stesen. Kebelakangan ini operator-operator LRT,MRT telah menyediakan pelbagai kemudahan di dalam stesen mahu pun stesen berdekatan dalam jarak yang tidak terlalu jauh.
- Kadar tambang yang berpatutan (walaupun terdapat rungutan dari parti-parti politik) yang mendakwa tambang LRT adalah mahal. Para pengkritik mungkin benar tetapi tidak semua yang mengetahui kos penyengaraan adalah tinggi terutama sistem tren yang berfungsi secara automatik sepenuhnya (Automatic Train Control - ATC)
Terdapat beberapa negara sahaja yang menggunakan sistem LRT secara ATC. Contoh terbaik ialah Malaysia yang menggunakan LRT yang dibuat oleh syarikat Bombardier Kanada. Sudah tentu kos pembelian dan penyengaraannya tinggi. Kebanyakan metro di dunia beroperasi secara manual begitu juga LRT di bandar-bandar yang lain.

Lean management is generally derived from the Toyota. It's developed by Taiichi Ohno, Shigeo Shingo and others over a forty year period. It began with efforts to reduce die change time on the stamping press which then allowed for a reduction of in-process inventory and this became just-in-time inventory management. Lean is the elimination of waste. But, more importantly, lean is continuous improvement in all work processes.Improvement in Japanese is used as a word to mean constant improvement. Often referred to as lean or lean manufacturing in English. The business method made Japan, especially Toyota, famous for its production system. Toyota and its affiliates and suppliers have achieved tremendous efficiency in production processes, maximizing waste and maximizing profits, through improvement methods that value continuous processes.
Constant improvement is essential to achieving maximum quality at the lowest cost. Time is very important and that is why in Japan they are loyal to train services. Early information regarding service status are crucial.

Improvement is an activity to eliminate waste and reduce costs.
Improvements or lean manufacturing must be on an ongoing basis. It should always be applied to work methods and activities. It is the process of finding and eliminating waste in machines, materials, labor, production methods, and office procedures. Everywhere in the company, small and sometimes large, opportunities for improvement can be found. Below is a basic example of a Toyota supplier:

Tips Supaya Mesyuarat Lebih Berkesan - Peranan Pengerusi Mesyuarat / Fasilitator
- apakah yang berlegar di fikiran semua yang hadir (peserta)
- apakah perkara yang ingin anda capai dalam mesyuarat tersebut
- apakah satu perkataan terbaik yang boleh menggambarkan mood atau perasaan anda waktu itu.
2. Nyatakan harapan yang akan diperolehi hasil dan agenda dari mesyuarat tersebut
- Para peserta perlu dijelaskan secara ringkas matlamat mesyuarat secara objektif
- Agenda mesyuarat hendaklah diberitahu secara ringkas semasa notis memanggil mesyuarat diedarkan melalui e-mel dan sebagainya supaya mereka ‘align’ dengan matlamat syarikat
- Kenali semua ahli sebaik-baiknya untuk memudahkan komunikasi semasa mesyuarat dijalankan. Ini penting supaya percakapan anda tidak menyentuh sensitiviti ahli
- Sebagai fasilitator, anda berhak untuk melantik mereka yang sesuai sebagai pencatat minit mesyuarat
- Ada kalanya anda perlu melakukan ‘rotation’ di kalangan mereka jika bersesuian dengan tugasan tersebut. Ianya bergantung kepada kesesuian dan kemahiran ahli asalkan ianya berkesan.
